GT 350 Worth it?

RE: GT 350 Worth it?
There are no GT350s
Those are just Mustang GTs that someone added a stupid side stripe "GT350" to.
You want to pay someone 20K over normal price for a sidestripe kit?
That has no real substance behind it.
It is just a wannabe Shelby not an actual Shelby....
Why not put Z06 emblems on your Mustang?

the daytona option (while i dont like them) was actually about 3 grand. it was an appearance package both on the exterior and interior, much like the $2k night runner option on my dakota. appearance package inside and out. 2 tone seats, black accients inside and different guages. on the exterior it came with black chrome wheels, different headlamps and an all blacked out appearance and some decals. the gt/cs we just bought is a gt with an appearance package.
an appearance package should be worth a few g's....not an addition of $20,000

here's the actual Shelby invoice.
If you think you can buy all those parts, install them for less (remember to add how much you make per hour) and somehow get your clone on the Shelby Registry for under $9,000 then there will be a line a mile long outside your garage!
Truth is that lots of folks are willing to spend over $40K on a car buy the Shelby GT because they don't want to spend all that time and effort tracking down parts, dealing with paint matching issues, busting their knuckles (think you can install the suspension and exhaust without cutting yourself?), etc. And ending up with something worth less than the sum of its costs.
So that creates a big demand. Then many thought it would be a great idea to take out a second low-interest loan on their houses to pay the markup! Look for these Shelbys on eBay soon!

Just buy a California Special, same car as the Shelby Gt minus the badging and the suspension/powerpacks. You can buy better performance with the money saved on the Shelby and still have the looks.

RE: GT 350 Worth it?
who wants the looks, its not about the looks its about it being a SHELBY! i dont know how many times ive said it, you can buy a 25g mustang gt and put 13g into it and be MUCH faster than a shelby gt, but it will still just be a modded mustang gt, not a shelby.
