I have Doug's 93race, torque, and performance tunes,I run his race tune as my daily driver with no problems, I like it better for a daily driver tune just because I drive 25 miles to work one way every day with about 10 miles city driving and 15 miles highway, the race tune pulls hard all the way thru the rpm range, the torque tune would be best if all my driving was in the city red light to red light, and the performance tune is great if all my driving was on the highway, but overall the race tune is the best of all.

dude its just a tune, not like a SC or something, its a very good tune, but u have nothing to worry about, several guys including myself uses the Race tune as a DD with no problems at all.

My decision is really between the Torque or Race tune. I haven't seen anybody anywhere recommend the Performance tune. Right now, it seems like the Race tune is the best bang for the buck since it combines both the Torque and Performance tune.

Ive got the 91 race tune right now and its pretty good, but i want to try it with 94 octance. If i adjust the global timing up 2 would i be able to safely run a higher octane fuel? Anyone try this yet, i emailed doug a while ago to ask him but he hasn' gotten back to me yet

I have all three tunes and I run the race tune as a daily driver. The performance tune is mild in the low end but pullsHARD above 3500rpm. The torque tune did not impress me at all and I pretty much ignore it. If you're only going for one, it's the race tune for sure.

None of his tunes.
My car ran horrible on his tunes! I made the most powerthe SCT Tune that came with the device. I ran a side by side comparison on the dyno. The SCT made more power than any of his 3 "custom" tunes. I will never do business with BAMAChips again. Horrible customer service!!!

i have the 93 octane performance tune. i absolutely love it but it's the only one i've used. after reading this i think i'm gonna immediately get w/ doug on sending me a race tune for my setup. like most of you said my tune pulls hard in the upper rpm range. do you lose any of that w/ the race tune or do you really keep all your upper end power plus add low end power as well?
