Additives
I have wondered about some of the performance/protection additives that are on the market. Should I use them in my new GT?
What are the advantages?
What are the disadvantages?
Which ones are good?

every 3rd tank i add 2 bottles of injection cleaning fluid. your supposed to put them in before you fill up so they get mixed in with your gas well. i dont wory about brand, figure its all probally pretty close and good anyway. and it says your supposed to use one per tank but idk. the engine was running a little rough in my old truck and i added one to my tank and by the time the tank was almost out, the engine was running smoother. since then, even with my new truck, ive always used it every 3rd tank.in my truck i use 89
except in my hawk, everytime i fill up i put one gas treatment and one injection cleaning. in my hawk i use 93, if they dont have it i use 91
im not sure what my mom puts in her gt/cs.

I use a bottle of Techtron prior to every oil change. I've used Slick 50 in all my cars back when I'd keep them for 100,000 miles or more, but now, I don't keep my cars long enough for me to warrant the expense/trouble. But i do plan on keeping my stang for a long while but it's been 3 yrs and only 10,000 miles, so....
slick 50 will actually gunk up your engine.
a friend of mine is a mechanic and warned me about that.
Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant/injector cleaner works well, along with seafoam.
dont forget about a lil torco here and there...hahaha

What exactly do you guys use techron for?
My dad is a safety engineer at ExxonMobil and he says additives are only needed if you use low-quality gasoline as they have worse additive packages and aren't refined to the same high standards as some like shell and exxon
