Default Help with product choices

I'm looking to upgrade my driveline before installing a supercharger.

I want to upgrade the rear end to a 3.73. What brands are good? Ford Racing, Motive, etc?

An aluminum DS would also be nice. I see the spydershaft is very popular.

Clutch & flywheel: Spec, Centerforce and Fidanza.......what are guys haveing the most success with?
Car is a daily driver, so I don't need something that is going to tire my leg out.

Thanks for the help boys.

FRPP gears are the easiest to install (have all the factory settings in terms of tolerances) and are therefore the least likely to whine. Other gearsets will also be quiet provided they are installed correctly (tougher to do with the Motives I understand).

I went with 4.10s and I am very pleased even after the S/C install.

I'm putting in my Spydershaft today (got the old 2 piece out last night!) so we'll see how that goes.

I'm going to run my stock clutch till she dies and then switch over to a Sepc Stage II+. May do the aluminum flywheel - still thinking that over. Pros and cons....

Im probably waiting till spring to install the superchager now (no point now with winter on the way). I plan on doing these mods to tide me over.

Ill have to contact Leathal Performance, they seem to have everything I want. (3 pod a pillar gauge cluster, Autometer Guages, clutches, flywheels, and gears). Ill be having a local shop install these items, as I trust the guy. When the supercharger goes on, that will bemy babythough.

4.10 will be to much for me, as I do lots of highway. probably no issue with the 20's, but when I through the 17's on in winter id be running over 3000 RPM at speedI figure. Yikes

4.10s are a little more problematic in the snow as well

With those gears and even after the S/C install i averaged 22 mpg on my trip back from Indiana to Columbus. Understand your concerns though.

With winter coming on, I am waiting till spring to do my wheels/tires as well. I'll keep the polished bullets and KDWS for the winter and buy a set of KDW2s and DRs for the summer.
