amsoil, castrol, and mobile won the test, placing as I just listed them (1,2,3)
From what I have read in the past, Amsoil does have the highest flash rate. Its good shet. IMO, amsoil is great for modded motors making quite a bit of horsepower and heat.

I used the stuff in a built Honda 440EX I had.

The reason i asked it this post was a joke is because someone with over 1500 posts has to have seen 1 of the 500 or so oil debates/arguments
I posted 95% of my post count in strictly in the Saleen section and havent seen any of the "arguments" matt. I just started venturing out elsewhere

He was referring to the filter comaparision and the fram filter being under par.....i think 22karts dad works in the oil business so those are the studies he is referring to but probably has no access to them

Yep howarmat is right, but you can find some real tests proving oil quality/performance on the internet.

And I would also like to know what made you lean towards 5w-30

All the Saleen guys told me it is recommended by Saleen to use 5w-30 and that is what the previous owner put in the car as well....someone else also explained to me that 5w-20 is usually better when the car is new but that 5w-30 is better when the car is broken in...
