checking auto fluid level

Does anyone remember the trans temp range for checking the fluid level ?

Ok found it myself but here it is for later searches 109 - 115 deg.

Why did Ford do away with the dipstick?? Guess this was just too easy....... Quailty is making job one more difficult!!!!!!!

So u cant check/change your fluid yourself.

Yeah I just don't get it. They make the entire rest of the car so user "serviceable" and then they say 'screw you' with the tranny.

Yeah I'm pissed over this as well. Did Ford do this on any other models with the auto?

No need to "check" it unless you see some of the "blood" on the driveway. In a sealed unit, it wont go anywhere.
