Would it be a bad idea to replace it with another stock clutch? I really like the way the stock clutch feels and I know it is built to handle up to 450rwhp and I am not planning on going over that for a very long time (way after I will need a new clutch anyway). What do you guys think about this and where could I buy one? Thanks

imo, the spec stage 2 meets
the requirements that you will
soon have (400 - 450 rwhp).

i am currently planning on installing this
same clutch in my stangie, come this next
spring.

Yes, the centerforce or spec clutches will be perfect for your application.

Remember, those are the safe working loads, so the clutches can actually handle much more power, but to be safe they advertise hp limits.

You will be happy with whatever you choose. Both have stock pedal feels

Trust me, when you start releasing it in 1st, you will undoubtedly feel it. It doesn;t sneak up on you. It will feel so much different than it normally does and you actually feel it slipping...

the stock clutch can only hold up to 360 ft-lbs of torque at the flywheel (about 300 at the rear wheels). if you are making any more torque than that, the stock clutch cannot hold it. judging by your sig, you are above that threshold. the stock clutch is only good for stock + a few bolt ons. if you have a blower, no way the stock clutch can hold. get an upgraded one.

i used to have a kevlar stage 2 clutch, it was great for s/c car...
