Default Answer quickly please

As yall know, I am saving for the s/cso it's always good when I can save a little. I have already purchased my motor oil...so is it ok to get my oil changed at like a Jiffy Lube rather than the STEALership. Afterall, they are only changing the oil...is it necessary to pay more and go to the dealership? Thanks

where i live, the dealership and jiffylube prices are the same. i guess i would trust the dealership more than a fast lube place.

Save even more and do it yourself. I understand completely if you would rather not. But changing the oil on the S197 honestly couldnt be any easier. The drain plug and filter are so easily accessible.Nothing is in the way. For what any place would charge you to change the oil and filterone time, even if you supply the parts, you could buy an oilcatch pan and a roll of paper towels to clean your hands off when your done. Most parts stores and shops will take your used oil,...FREE!! I'll take anybody's oil at my shop. We burn it to heat the place during winter.

then go to someone you trust, I don't trust dealerships that much, but will take it there over jiffylube if I have to. Around here most of the semi performance shops aren't above doing oil changes.
