Anyone here with Crane cams ?
Been looking for cams a while and I can't decide if either Crane or Comp, would be crane stg 3 or comp stg 4. Though the major difference in both i'll guess is the gross lift, crane has more lift in exhaust and intake. Wich one is more reliable? or will give better results?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The guy that runs the dyno I go to says he's had alot of customers complain about Comp Cams. It surprised him, because they are suppose to be a big name. But many of his customers have had nothingbut problems with them. Something about the tolerances not being close enough for one.

Oof. Sloppy tolerances are the absolute last desirable thing on a camshaft. On this piece more than almost all others, you'll want a high quality piece. Loose tolerances will lead to inconsistent performance and sloppy engine management. Never a good thing.
