Nope. My cars rev'limit is set at 6800, so you should be fine. Don't worry about it if it isn't knocking. [8D]

same here, brenspeed tune FTW. i just feel so guilty letting it rev that high.

my buddy did the same thing, but his limiter is set to 7k and he was spraying a 75 shot. no problems on his motor either. i guess they're pretty strong

Yeh, like I said--if it isn't knocking now, I damn sure wouldn't worry about it.

I did the same thing today (stock tune)....was in 2nd and didn't shift soon enough...definitely didn't enjoy that feeling.

I assume if you have a stock tune and hit the limiter accidentaly it shouldn't be too dangerous?

if you have the stock tune, your definetly alright. you can bounce it off that limiter all day. (not reccomended tho).

I had my gas peddle get stuck at open throttle the other day. That was kinda scary. Anyways, I bounced off the rev limiter several timesafter I pressed the clutch. It didn't seem to do anything...Thank God.

I would suggest lowering your rev limiter to like 6400 theres no point in shifting over 6k anyway. Just my .02
