supercharger question

RE: supercharger question
To be honest, I think (me and a few others, this isn't a universal opinion), it would be a good idea to go for the higher viscosity oil anyways.
Apparently in the South American continents, the manual reccomends 5w-30. The reasoning behind this is that in the US, Ford uses 5w-20 to eek out some extra gas mileage. Or something.
Either way, I use 5w-30 as my car sees relatively little highway use and a fair bit of abuse.
If you really want to be safe, talk to the manufacturer of the Supercharger and see what they have to say.
