Default fastest stock automatic(1/4 mile)

Ive seen plenty of numbers of the sticks, what are the autos running?

HA!, Spyder is running low 12's, he's N/A but you definitely can't call him stock.
fordfanboy runs an auto too in the mid 10's, not quite stock though.
Stock autos can run mid 13's.

Two cars have been 9's on the stock 5r55 auto tranny....Peter Del Pino in his procharger carand JDM Engineering in the windveil blue Saleen.

2005mach1 runs 13.01 with an auto, not stock but N/A.

best stock time for an auto i've seen is 13.6. but that doesn't seem like a very common result. 13.7-13.8 seems more likely.

Motor trend got 13.5, but I'm sure there has been faster, and slower. [&:]

I ran a 13.7 with just an intake and tune, 13.51 with a little exhaust work and i'd be willing to bet I could go 13.20's with a slightly shorter rear tire and a little weight reduction. I did the 13.51 with a almst full gas tank and the spare and jack were in the trunk. Not to mention that I weigh 220lbs....

All the stock auto ive seen are having a hard time getting into the 13's, morelike low 14s. But most of them tend to be new comers to the track.

I think the higher gears and most of them just put it into D and nail it when i bet shifting manuel would be better.

I dont have a auto, but alot people that do run good times tell me they shift them selfs. And there also alot of people on this forum that keep saying there car keeps shifting to soon. but who knows.
