I ran mine on the dyno last night and i got 249 hp and 268 tq with the mods i have in my sig......I'm hoping that the dyno wasn't calibrated right or something. cause if guys are getting 265 hp stock something doesn't seem right to me.

30 to 40 over stock (250-auto/260 stick) would be 290-300 rwhp, plenty of people have claimed that, guess it depends on what threads you read. With my mods I ran a personal best 13.1 @ 104mph the other nightat Firebird, a perfect run so don't really see where I could have picked up another .2 or .3 to get me into the 12s, it takes a combination of mods to get in the 12s and a canned tune/intake on street tires is BS, therehave been plenty ofother S197s at the two tracks I frequentand I have never seen one run close to even 12.9 without a decent amount of modifications, namely drag radials, gears, LCAs, etc.....

hell most of the guys out here with blowers/NOS are only in the mid 12s, like I have said before I apparentlyAZGTs are slower !!!! lol

Guess you need to get east of the Mason-Dixon line to run faster !!!!?? lol

I will shut up when someone local with just a couple of mods on street tires makes a 12.9 run, period !!!

I have numerous 12.9's from two different tracks.
CAI/Tune Stock Pirellis.
60's 1.89-2.01
Traps 106-107
DA's -71' to -658'
I also have a 13.08 from +944'.
I have two 12.9's from +674' with the addition of an aluminum driveshaft.

I dont know how to convince you. If you chose to believe the possible is impossible that is certainly your right.

PS Your trap speed seems low for an automatic with your mods. What was the Density Altitude for your 104.2 run?

No 2 dynos are the same and no 2 engines are the same. I have seen the numbers all over the scale and they are legit, No BSing either. That's just the way it is. Like it or lump it.

Heres the 4 main ingredients...Its 1. all about the tune. 2. Your PERSONAL engine (no two the exact same). 3. The type of DYNO. 4. Your area u live in AND what type off day it is......Arguing ERONNEOUSLY declaiming someone elses numbers or proclaiming someone else's numbers are BS. The only way to truly judge a car against one another is for both cars to be at the same place running at the same time with the same variables. Then u can argue who is BETTER ( i guess), for me i dont care i just wanna go fast, i could personally give a rats *** if my car was slower by.2 seconds.....ROFL at lots of people in these forums...rofl rofl rofl

1200 FT ABOVE SEA LEVEL , according to abc15 density altitude calculator(dew point, pressure, temp)= 2171.8 ?

We are in a valley here I wouldn't think the alt/weather would have that much to do with it unless it is really hot, like summertime you know 110s !!

At a DA of 2172' the air is about 6.8% less dense than standard air at sea level, so assume 6.8% less HP. That's worth about 2.2% in terms of trap speed. How does 106.5 mph at sea level sound? Or an 8.9% density & HP differences vs -658' DAand a 107.2 mph trap speed under those conditions?

I just happen to be working on an analysis forwind loads and had some air density tables handy.

Yeah, you're probably right. I'd claim that I've been an engineer for too long except that I've been running numbers for some of these car-related topics for longer than that. Phrases like "seems a little low" are a bit like waving a red cape out in the middle of some pasture in Spain.
