Default problems with pypes

Hey guys, I got the pypes O/R H pipe, pypes over axle pipes, and pypes violators and i gotta tell you, the fit and finish of these pieces leave quite a bill to be desired. I mean, I cant explain how hard it was to rig everything together to fit. I am very dissapointed with these pieces.

Wow, thats not good to hear. Thanks for the info. Makes one think twice about ordering them. I have heard a lot of good and bad comments on various Pypes products, kindof like people either love them or hate them. I installed the Violators and actually had to grind the little notch out more, where the muffler's intake tube matches up with the little nub on the stock over axle pipe. I like the sound of them though.

I had the axle backs and the finish and fit sucked, had to bend the hangers to get things to line up still never fit right.

+1 Just had the mid muffler system installed a couple of days ago and the tail pipes were not even close to being the same. The right side was at least 3 inches lower then the left, which was perfect. No matter what was done with the pipe alignment it could not be fixed short of cutting the hangers off and re-welding them on in the proper locations. I for one will not be ordering anything more with the Pypes logo on it.

Also, whatever you pay, for any product, it should deliver what is advertised and be manufactured with some sort of pride and quality. $300.00 parts and 1 hour + in shop time for cut and paste is still hard earned money.

I had some minor fit issues with the Violators axel backs. Left side fit OK but the right side hangers were not correct and the tipstuck outabout 2" more than the left side. The polished SS, tips and sound are great though.

my h-pipe had one hanger too far forward. I just cut it off and had it re-welded.
