My fit on both the Violators and off road h were right on. Pypes definitely seems like a hit or miss company. You're not the only one I've heard of. It's too bad because the have a great price, and I LOVE the sound of mine. I can't complain about mine.

Im thinking about calling them up and telling them about my luck with them and see if they cant get it right and send me another set. I mean what a shoddy company if they tell me to shove it and deal with their crappy products. Whatever, i got bigged things to worry about, i got in an accident today and i wont be able to drive the stang for at least two weeks my 89 ranger better be up to the task of daily drivin. Oh well, going from 85HP, back to 304 HP will be awesome!

I have been happy with the Pypes product I purchased as well as their service. I would call them up and give them a chance to make it right. They seemed like good guys when I called them.

I talked to a number of different exhaust shops in my area before I bought my axle backs. While each shop seemed to have their favorite, all offered this same advice - don't buy anything from Pypes! This from guys who do exhausts for a living. I went with MAC's and stories like yours make me glad I did.

Wish someone would have posted this about 3 weeks ago, cause i've had the same problems. and my exhaust is rattling now also. bought they from brenspeed called them up and they said they could send me a work order to send them to pypes to inspect i'd have to pay shipping which wouldn't be worth the hassle. When i asked why they'd sell a product like this they said they'd installed hundred of these and never an issue which I find had to believe.

Have you checked the driver's side exhaust hanger? That's the only problem I've had. It was too long and was touching the bumper reinforcement. I cut 1/2" off it and buzz/rattle gone.

Thanks I'll check that out this weekend. My boss went on vacation, so I drove his truck all week free gas and bridge toll for me.
