2007 mustang GT mods?
I am looking at a few mods for my 2007 Mustang GT and wanted to get the forum recommendations...
CAI
Tune
373 gears
x pipe to go with my roush 427 R exhausts, has H pipe on it now
BBK throttle body
GMS Mass air sensor
Underdrive Pulleys
Wondering what type of horsepower, performance I will notice? Any other mods you recommend?
Suspension is next: LCA, UCA, Panhard Bar

Don't waste yourmoney on a throttle body most people I've heard of that got them regret buying it. One guy I know lost power with one and the tuner could not get any moreHP from it on a dyno.

As said before, don't bother with the throttle body. Delete plates are fairly easy to install. I consider myself a novice when it comes to working on cars and i was able to install them with no problems. If I were you, I'd spend my money on the delete plates over the throttle body.
That GMS mass air sensor also seems like a waste.

Depending on what mods you want to perform...there might be a couple more items on that list that are a waste...i.e. if you think you'll go turbo or centrifigal supercharger then getting the CAI will be a waste...also the exhaust is pretty good on our cars, so unless you just want sound, correct me if i'm wrong, but you won't really gain a whole lot by changing it from what you have currently...

Thanks for the responses so far...
Seems like the things that provide noticible differences are: gears and tune...
The rest seems like very minimal improvements based on the cost. It sounds like gears and tune then if want more power a supercharger...

How much power are you looking to gain? You can gain 40-50hp with just basic bolt-ons (CMDPs, UDP, intake, tune). Add longtube headers and a o/r midpipe ontop of that, and you're looking at 60-65hp. If you want more than that on NA, you'll need cams and head work. A supercharged will easily give you 100+hp, but will be more expensive.

40-50 HP would be great...I didn't realize it would give me that much...Was thinking tune would give me 15-20...wasn't sure if you just add the HP together, example: 10 for the UDP, 10 for CAI, etc?

I've seen a dyno sheet showing that intake, tune, udp, and cmdp's giving 47hp over stock. Every car is different though. A good intake and tune will be good for ~30hp, give or take a few. UDP and CMCVs will be good for another 10-15hp.
