Drove to get a chicken biscut this morning and rolled on my car in third gear and the engine light came on. This time it was code 0355 instead of 0353. So I must have a ignition problem. I cant tell that it is affecting performance but I would love to get it fixed. Could this be in the tune? Im thinking about just ordering a turbo tune from Brenspeed and trying that.

 

Yea man try brenspeed. No problems here naturally aspirated.

Honestly, off the top of my head i don't know what fault code that is

 

Both 0353 and 0355 are ignition coil codes. Misfire codes.

 

well i hope it is just the tune....

we can probably rule out the
ignition transformer capacitors
and the C.O.P's now

which leavesthe spark plugs
or the PCM itself.....

I went for a drive while ago and no engine light. I did reset it. Could this be in the tune? I think Im going to call Brent back monday and order one of his tunes. By the way he said my car should not be putting out 494rwtq and 488 rwhp with only 7lb of boost. He said you could alter the numbers on a Mustang dyno by changing the weight of the car.He suggested finding a Dynojet and letting them run it. He said he could give me more power down low.
