Default problems

ok, the story is that I had a predator programmer, with bamas 93 race tune on it.
car ran perfectly.
Mods are Steeda 90mm intake with HF elbow, Steeda CMDPs, Steeda Underdrives, Mac Longtube Headers, Bassani X, Flow Axleback, FRPP 4.10s.
Now, I took off the tuner, traded for a livewire, and now the car wont come out of failsafe, no matter what.
Got a buddy at the dealership to re-flash the car to factory specs, and still nothing.
I even re-attached the cmdp motor, and still nothing.
car is consistently throwing p2104 code, not matter what tune.
SCT built a tune for me to use, and it didnt cure the problem. All fuses are good.
everything is attached.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Maybe a new ecm?

Well, installing the CMDP motor without the factory cmdps is useless as there is no blades in there to use. Try that for a start. I would start by reinstalling the Bama tunes & see if it runs again. If not, go to stock with stock tune. The only thing that you would need to replace is the intake & CMDPs. The exhaust & gears don't really matter in the way it runs. Seeing as how you have longtubes, check the 02 sensor wires to see if they are burned.

This is probably not the problem you are having but take a look at this:http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=661846 It mentions some info very similar to yours.

guys, I traded the predator.
no more bamatune.
the car idles in failsafe, but hits failsafe just with the ignition on, not running.
I re-installed the cmdp motor because the ecu will sense that it is attached, and believe they are there, for the stock reflash-still nothing.
I had my friend come and put the exact same calibrated stock tune back in it, via dealership computer.
kinda pointing to the ecu being corrupted.
Just cringing at the bill for it.

If the ecu is corrupted I would try talking to SCT - they may be interested in getting their hands on the ecu to do some testing.

you turn the key: failsafe, start it: failsafe, unplug batttery for 30 min-turn key: failsafe.

So, you are telling me that every tuning company out there I have used, cant tune for cmcvs?
odd, Bama's tune worked wonders (predator). SCT custom built one for me to test, no luck, brenspeeds has no luck.
SCT has confirmed that the tuner is working correctly, modifying parameters as it should.
They remotely worked on it though my PC, testing it, checking it, everything, for 3 hours yesterday, and still no workie.
its the car as of now, cleaned the tps, reattached everything, still nothing,

Ill contact sct either today or in the morning.

Before you traded tuners, did you put the stock tune back on before using the SCT? That may be your problem.

stocker was put back on.
I even had a friend from the dealership come re-flash my car back to bone, factory stock, with matching calibration code to the original.
so yes, the car has been put back to stock.
