I have an 04 GT stick and my wife has a 07 V6 auto and best I can tell, we getthe same gas mileage. About 24-25 with a mix of highway and city driving, about 26-27 strictly open highway. Any difference in gas mileage is trivial. I can't comment on the '05+ V8, but I doubt its alot different.

I bought a '07 v-6 August of '06. I put dual exhaust and a CAI on it. For a 6 cyl. I thought it ran really strong, and averaged 25mpg. I decided that I, too, wanted a GT. I got one in November '07. So far, I'm averaging 22 mpg, with about 30% highway driving. If it's really what you want, remember, life is short, get one.

City: 18-20
Hwy: 25-27

I was getting better mileage with my Diablosport canned tune, and without the delete plates. I was getting closer to 20-21mpg in the city, and 26-28 on the highway.

Hey there guys well i got an 07 v-sixer and with all the mods that i want to do to it to bump up its stock hp im thinking about just trading it in and gettin a gt. probably the only thing thats holding me back is the gas mileage that it might get. yea yea i know its a muscle car and its suppose to guzzle down gas like i pound coronas but i was wonderin if one of you gt guys could give me a rough estimate of what kind of mileage your getting.

thanks
Don't think, just do it!!

I hover around 19 to 20. I also spend more than half my time on freeways, if that means anything to you.

I have most of the common bolt on's along with gears. My mpg around town is crap. Im getting 15-16. On the highway, my mpg could be better, I get 23. My mpg took a nose dive when I got the gears.

Good luck!

i get 16mpg according to the computer... and i dont really mash it.. but i drive it strictly in stop/go traffic situations.. no just cruising along at 45... most of billings is 35mph and so many backwater hicks from out of town don't think their cars can do more than 25 for city driving... so.. pretty slow/idle seems to be almost as bad as just flooring it everywhere you go.
