Default Brenspeed+optional parameters

I was bored today guys so I decided to play around with my tuner, Doing some small pulls on my road.

I noticed that as I put 3 degrees of timing into the 2,000-4,000 rpm range and 1 degree in the 4,000-8,000 range, the stang seemed to pull lots harder.

Then I tried making the WOT Mixture 4% richer for the hell of it, and it bogged compared to the stock brenspeed tunes.

What are you guys doing to your tuner to make more power.? I'm using the brenspeed 93 tune and the weather is cold...

nothing.....messing with those parameters is not advised.......the tuners are pros and play with those parameters becuase they know how to set them in the tune...

I have plenty or power to begin with if you want more power...get more mods.

Well I lowered the idle to 800. That shouldn't hurt

yeah, playing with your tune after a tuner has sent them is probably not the brightest thing to do. I'm sure they still leave some room for improvement, but only enough to make sure nothing bad happens. If it were safe to add more timing (the best way to get more power thru the tuner), they would add more because each tuner is going to get more business by making more power than the rest. It's very competitive, so there's not much left on the table. It's justnot safe without higher octane fuels. The basic difference in the upgraded tunes is tuning them for premium (91 or 93) fuel by adding timing. There's other stuff too, but you're asking for problems by just adding timing. Adding fuel wouldn't help and may actually hurt the performance. More fuel is actually safer, but less powerful without adding airflow also.

What is the advantage, or reason, for wanting to change the idle speed? Just wondering.

Thanks!

Well I seemed to be idling a tad high, so for me, It lowered my fuel consumption minimally, and let the engine calm down when standing still.

Just a preference
