Nonsense. The reality is in the 1/4 the car will be more stable with the bigger stockers up front in place of skinnies. I have ran my car many times with 18x10 up front and 28/10.5-15 slicks out back at 138 mph in the 1/4.

You probably don't want slicks. Unless your making enough torque, slicks can actually slow you down out of the hole. For the majority of cars, a good DR is the best bet.
