I am defineatly interested but the blower used up all the play money.

Next on the list is wheels, then clutch, then driveshaft, then thumprr tensioner, then dyno tune, then visual mods. So I have a long time to wait.

If I win the lotto though you will be the first to know .

moose, have you picked out your new
hood yet.....i think the saleen heat
extractor, is in order....
They want a lot for that hood. I was looking at the 2.5 inch cowl from cervini's. I like to keep it old school whenever possible. They put on the estimate "repair hood", but i'm not sure if that's possible with the aluminum. I'll find out Thursday when I take it to the body shop. The estimate was just under $4k which seems optimistic to me, but whatever.

It was some website and they wanted $800 for it, maybe it was a different saleen hood.

Anyway the only damage to my hood besides all the scratches is a dent on the front edge so I think they can fix it.

hey moose, i realize they might be able to fix
your original hood.....my thought is, if there is
ever going to be a time to go with a custom hood,
it's now....

personally, i would also do the entire saleen front
end and i would include the rocker panels as well
to top it off. the rear end i would leave stock.

Get some prothane motor mounts and drop it a little and get more power to the rear wheels!!! FTW!

I don't get it, how does lowering the engine make more RWHP?

moose, seeing your dented and scratched up pics makes me wanna cry. [sm=boohoo.gif]

You make a lot of sense. I dub thee Hood guru. I was showing my wife the cowl hoods and she said if you want a different hood then just buy it. I've spent to much money in the last few weeks though and I still have to put a new roof on the house. In other words, it's not happening.
