Adding 50rwhp to a stock GT, which will put you at around 315rwhp (if you are a manual), will take quite a bit of dough. Here is what you will need:

CAI/tune (better be a good tune) (25rwhp)
Delete plates (5 rwhp)
o/r midpipe (5 rwhp)
UDPs (5 rwhp)
LT headers (10-15 rwhp)
spydershaft (usually frees up around 5rwhp)

These are all rough estimates...but they should put you at around 315-320rwhp

Saleen makes a good point. it's almost like an ala carte menu. Please note his caveat, if you have a manual transmission. With a manny, you start at around 265WHP. The autos have been dyno'd as low as 230WHP. You did not mention if you have a stick or an automatic.

THen, you need to ask yourself, what do you wish to accomplish? I'll assume you have an automatic and are a bit disappointed because you thought the car should "feel" faster. Well, for under $500 you can accomplish that with a CAI and tune (you can spend more for prettier CAIs or spend more through a "name brand" shop but dynos don't lie). Choose your CAI and tune as a kit and from a shop that has dyno'd thousands of cars and you can purchase custom tunes through them as part of the price. You don't need to do a dyno tune for CAI/tune unless you just want to pass some time and spend some cash. Then, you can regroup, check with your "butt dyno" to see if you have accomplished your goal. If not, another 15WHp won't satisfy you. You will need to either go on the bottle or forced induction.

At the end of the day, if you are an auto tranny, and are looking for 50 WHP, let's assume you started real low (middle ground) at around 240WHP. You are looking for over 20% WHP gains from simple bolt ons.

If you have a stick, then CAI/91 or 93 tune will almost get you to 300WHP. UDPs ( i personally don't like them), off road pipes (if legal where you are) and you're over 300WHP with manny

Good luck and my signature states my feelings

thanks for the help homey, I think Im going to say F%#* the waranty and have some fun.
It is pretty lame to letthe warranty stop anyone form modding.Dealers don't void warranties for modifications. They may refuse to do a repair under warranty if they can attribute it to a modification but they dont send your VIN in to a "black list" because you have modifications. My dealer actually does lots of mods and does not pimp owners on warranty issues. Mod away!

I have an 06 GT auto and I was a little disappointed in the sluggishness until I got a C&L CAI and Brenspeed 93 octane tune. Major difference! Even with the stock 3.31 gears. I'm stockexcept for the C&L CAI, tune and Mac axlebacks. I hope to ugrade my gears soon.I have no regrets about having my auto performance now.

None of us here tune our cars ourselves unless we work for a tuning company...all you have to do is order it and plug it in
