RE: which gauge pod would you get?
It depends on what you want. I went with the ventpod because I only have one gauge. If I ever get boosted, I will still keep the vent pod, but the one of the 2 I am would go with are these.
I am not for flash, so I look for the ones that are a little less conspicuous.
This is the Autometer Dash Pod. I like it because it seems to be the best to blend in.

Then there is this one that the same people you make the pillar pods you put up. Radio Pods

I want/will get a pillar pod once I get a zex kit. The reason for this is so I can rig up a way to attach a 5" monster tach to the pillar without having to drill a hole into my dash or anything like that.

Although I don't have one, I think the vent pod would be more of a pain to wire. I bought a broke SoS pillar pod and mounted the pods to my old pillar. I love it and it's out of the way. Only drawback is it's real easy for anyone else to see at night.

The wiring took me about 5 to 10 minutes if that. It was very easy.
