If I needed more breakin miles on my clutch and that was what was keeping me from the install...I guarantee I wouldnt come home with the car until those miles were on the car

It has to be stop and go miles, so I can only stand to do about 40 miles at a time. Damn spec clutches and their ridiculously long break in period...

Update: I drove my car around New Orleans non-stop for about7 hours today. I now have about 30 miles to go before the break in period on my clutch is complete, but my left leg started spasming and I had to call it a day.I'm definitely going to install the whipple on monday.

On a side note, I wouldn't recommend SPEC clutches to anyone. I'm almost completely through the break in period and I still get noticable clutch chatter at low RPMs in 3rd and 4th gear. I figure I'll beat up on this one for a while at the track, and once the intial novelty of owning a supercharger wears off, I'll buy a Mcleod twin disc if the chatter still has not cleared up.

Yeah I have heard many good things about the Mcleod twin disc and think that is what I will go with! Cant wait for the pics and vids! J
