Default Tunes

Ok guys, I need some help. I havethe Airaid CAI on my 05 GT and now want to get a tuner.Ihad decided on getting it from Brenspeed butthen I saw several posts talking about tunerssaying that Brenspeed had the best tunes forthe manual but bamachip's tunes were better for automatics. I have an auto so I switched my plan to Bamachips, made contact with them tomake sure they had a tune for my CAI and was about to make the order. Now today I saw wheresomeone said theBrenspeed had the better tune for an auto. Does anyone have the numbers on both so we can compare?

Thanks

I have both bren & bama tunes for my auto trans and imho i think bama is alittle better for our automatics. try the torque and race tunes, it wont dissappoint.

Thanks leepinlen, did you just get the 87 Performance, 93 torque and 93 race tunes from bamachips?

It's all about personal opinion. I have an auto and a Brenspeed tune and I like it. many like each one and go with what they have. I don't have a bama tune but many swear by them. Brenspeed has better service and will fix any problems in a quicker manner. With the new tuner combo you'll get the three custom tunes with. In this case I would lean a bit towards bama. For a torque, race, and a performance tune. Brenspeed gives you one specific tune set up to three different octanes.

I have heard good things about both and am a bit biased towards Brenspeed. As someone mentioned before, you will also want to factor in service as well and nothing beats Brenspeed for service. Monday through Saturday you can call them and speak to someone about pretty anything for your stang. For a few hp here and there I prefer being able to call and get help when needed. Before the supercharger I was running Brents tune on the auto and it was very smooth and very strong. I was chirping 1-2 and 2-3 so there was no lack of power when needed. Good luck!

I also am going to get a Brenspeed tune for the Airaid/Roush CAI this spring as my car is in winter storage now. Guys also remember that you run the tunes with the MAF venturi removed for the three tunes! I am interested in the 93 street tune for my manual vert. Is it a big difference with this intake and what can I expect thanks!
