I recieved the new x3 from sct with bamachips custom tunes. I have read the directions! I do not understand hoe to upload those custom tunes. Please help!!!

So I think I installed the tune right, but when I turn the car on it will run for a few seconds and then shut off!! It smells like its running rich. It smells like gasoline after.

Are you running the right octane for the tune?

Yea 91! I even tried the 87 tune. It does not work. It runs for like 2 seconds and then stops. When I had the tuner plugged in my battery disconected. A guy that was over noticed it and then coneccted it and my car flipped out. The radio turned on and the panic alarm went off. Did something break or fry or what?

What is a Nex X3? Are you trying to load your tunes with the battery disconnected? Turn the key off plug the x3 in follow the on screen directions, battery needs to be connected.

How does your battery just disconnect? The most important thing when changing the tune is good battery power.

Well what happened is when I was installing the delete plates, It required to disconect the battery. I forgot to conect it and when I was searching the tuner when it was plugged into my car my brothers friend plugged the battery in and the car freaked out. The alarm went off the radio turned on. Now it starts but shuts off in a few seconds.

So, you just installed the CMDPs? It might be the problem.

Maybe you missed a step or something.

I dont see how its pretty straight forward. Why would it run for a few seconds and then shut off?
