Default street machine

if you were to build yourself up the bad *** street machine for the weekends
(within reasons,no supercharger for now) what mods/set up would you use?
say the budget is $2500 for now?? also would you choose auto or manual and why.
Just for the sake of conversation but also want to see what people would want done to
their cars and why.Me,I would do standard bolt ons, stiffer rear suspension, wider tires,
auto(usual power mods for auto tune, trq converter etc.) lauch like like a bat outta hell and
hope they aren't packing a 20 lbs. of boost lol.

Manual because it's quicker out of the box.

CAI/Tune $600
CHE Non-Adjustable UCA/LCAs < $300
Zex N20 kit $600
4.10 gears $600 (including install)

Leaves you $400 to put a couple of DRs on the stock rims or ???

Well, a stock GT +$2500 in mods = daily driver. I don't think it qualifies as "bad *** street machine".

i want something that will not only take out a majority of the cars out there right off
at the line but also be able to pull car lengths ahead of them between gears 2-4
but also civil enough to take out to mcdonalds or to rent a movie without it dying on me
or the rpms hovering at 3500 at 30mph lol (auto)

./end borderline sarcasm

Since they don't have decent cams yet, the point is moot (except for modaddict).
CAI and other goodies are about all for now.
