I honestly don't know anyone running them on this platform (besides you...lol) so I have no info either way. I wasn't dissing them - that's why I asked you specifically which ones you had so I could look at them. What I was talking about in my rating 'rant' was merely that despite the rating and your HP level, if their design is not cohesive with your valves, storke, and everything else, that rating doesn't mean much. They could be fantastic, I don't know without seeing them or at least seeing the specs.

Hey CK,

Did I miss the built short block talk? If not, thats cool that is the one I am waiting for. Mine is pretty basic though as I only need something that will take my Whipple HO at 10-12psi forever.

Thanks,

since this is Rotating Assemblies .... I've been thinking in the CR for only 92 oct pump gas on the car, to avoid detonation I would like to use a 8.5:1 CR. How much rwhp do u think I can make with that CR using 92 pump with a 3.4 whipple ? safely...

Its been so long since i even looked at the specs or even gave a **** haha. My car has had so many problems its not even funny. If i could do it all over again I would have bought an MMR block and dropped the boner in. I belive its about an 8:8 compression and I want to say i remember it being a -17? I'll have to go back and check because I dont know now.

What valves, springs, retainers, etc... are you using?
