I've made some exterior mods so far, but I think I'm starting to know enough about engines to start upgrading the insides.

Any advice for the first thing i should spend my money on?

 

cold air intake and tune, maybe some exhaust mods

any tune and cold air intake recommendations? (i realize these can be pretty specific according to taste, but just a general idea of what everyone thinks is the best....)

 

COLD AIR INTAKE AND TUUUUUUNE!!!

I have the C&L. I think it looks the best. But most everything from brenspeed will do great for ya.

 

+4 CAI and Tune - the Tune is the key. Make it easy on yourself and just go to brenspeed.com or bamachips.com. JLT, C&L, BBK,etc, etc.many good options.

 

there's a new CAI that just came out, i forget by who, but it makes more power than c+l and jlt.

what's ur budget?

i say blower, 4.10 gears, tuner, exhaust. subsitute cai for blower if on a tight budget.

 

Intake and tune, best bang for the buck mod and very easy to install. Other cheap mods you can do are short shifters and axlebacks.

 

JLT CAI, tuner. and some nice sounding axle backs.
that will get you hooked.

 

i think JLT II is the cheapest for the power that it puts out. you can get the c and l, but its like 100 extra bucks pretty much for looks. go onto brenspeed and check out what they have, they got some good stuff
