Default Automatic Tranny

I'm running an American Muscle tune and I've noticed a hell of a difference in driveability. But what I'm curious about is the increased pressure shifts it keeps throwing at me. Its awesome since it makes the car scratch 2nd and 3rd gear. But I wonder, is it causing damage to the transmission at the same time? I tried searching for the answer to my question in the search area but didn't have any luck.

It wont damage the tranny until you get 450rwhp.

Will this apply even if I use a high stall aftermarket torque converter?

So, what will be harmed by the upshifts when I reach a point of ~450rwhp?

I've tried searching on the forums, as well as the internet pretty hard. And nothing seems to match my search quiery. I'd really not any of us to be the first to find out.

mine seems to be holding up just fine with 480hp and i abuse it often but i only have 2000 miles with the supercharger
