What are your thoughts about keeping the clutch stock if drag-racing is not an issue? I want the extra power and plan to install the Whipple 10-12 psi twin screw. Ford racing and Whipple recommend installing a GT500 fuel pump along with this SC. I am planning to install the larger fuel pump but had not thought about changing out the clutch. Again, is this a must for primarily street performance? Thanks for the input.

The stock clutch will live for a while at that power level if you are nice to it, but it wasnt designed to hold that much power. I dont think you need to buy one right away, but I would say within a year of getting the blower I would swap it.

I am still on the stock clutch, have about 1500 miles with the blower and all is well. I will order a replacement around October unless it starts to fail before that.
