I get my JLT2 Tuner combo in tomorrow. I have question though, if i hadbrenspeed put the tune for the 3.73 gears with the tune can i still drive it if the gears are not installed yet? I hope so or i have to wait for a week. Please give me some info on this.

You can change the gear ratio as needed and it won't affect the performance portion of the tune.

It's a parameter you can choose to modify without having a custom tuner play with it.

Will i need to change the parameters for the gear ratio or just leave them the same? I plan on getting the gears installed in about a week.

Yes, you can override the tune gear ratio by selecting optional parameters and putting in what you have now. Then when the gears are installed, reload the tune without going to optional parameters.

I guess i will have to see when the tuner gets here. I never have used one before so we'll see. If anyone has any exact directions on how to change that it would be greatly appreciated.

Select program vehicle/load tune and when it says change optional parameters, you scroll down until you see gear ratio and then change to your gear. Then load the tune on the vehicle just like normal.
