Default Saleen SC and manual boost gauge question

I just got done installing the SC and Saleen told me to hook up my manual autometer boost gauge to a spot on the passenger side of the blower. It is a tap directly to the left of the TB

Didn't your autometer gauge come with a T and plastic tubing and a little black sleeve that goes over the plastic tubing and slides over the T? On my Saleen S/C the area you show is plugged off with a brass cap. The boost gauge is spliced into the rubber hose on the drivers side, and the T is inserted into the two ends of the hose and the plastic line is attached to the larger end of the T with the black sleeve. Zip tie or little hose clamps tie off the two ends that fit over the smaller ends of the T. I believe what you are showing in the picture is used with the Saleen Gauges. And yes if you want to rev your car into wot you will see boost if the gauge is hooked up properly.

The boost on my car doesn't kick in until I go wot and then it climbs in a hurry. If you don't get a reading with the way you have it hooked up you can always plug that hole, and run it like I have mine. That's the way Brenspeed hooks theirs up.

I'd love to go and look and contribute constructively to this thread, but my car is undergoing surgery right now at the body shop.. :-(
