I have an o/r H. There is no inspection/emissions in my area. During the summer, the State Police will set up random check points along the sides of the road andbriefly look your vehicle over.

Gotta love Ohio!

You pass an emissions test by putting the stock CATed H-pipe and stock tune back on prior to the test.

I know a guy who does inspections Thats always a good route to go. Try bribing the place that does inspections so you dont have to spend the time or money or both putting the stock catted pipes on

I live in Ohio as well, the county I live in has no emissions inspections and I've never seen an inspection site along the road. If I lived in an inspection area I'd probably leave my exhaust alone.

The Cervini side exhaust comes with a type of J pipes. Believe me......do NOT cut the cats. We did that on our first C300 and it was soooo loud we had to put them back on [8D]

usually if the car doesnt make it on the lift in MD, then all they check for is check engine lights... and if the o2 sensors are reading fine (which they would be since tunes usually turn the rear ones off)... then you should be good. my friend passed emissions because he had no check engine lights and his car couldnt make it on the lift either...

Hi Tonk, you have me curious. According to this website (http://mva.state.md.us/MVAProg/VEIP/veipinfo.htm) the OBD-II port test is required in MD for all 96 or newer vehicles. I'm pretty sure to pass this test the rear O2s have to functional (i.e. they have to give a reading). Do you know otherwise? Have you actually had your car tested with rear O2s turned off?

Thanks, Argo
