From what I've read on reputable sources ( CNN etc ) it's $600 if you made over 3k but under 75k, $1200 if under 75k and claiming a child, and $300 if you made under 3k but still filed. Over 75k I think you get nothing... but anyways, all good suggestions, but like I was saying before, being a guy with not a lot of money and wanting the bang for my buck, would spending the money on a CAI/Tune be worth it rather than just using my K&N and getting a tune and something else... if its a 1-2 hp difference I'm not going to fret.

It's $1200 for married plus $300 for each qualifying kid.

I'm not sure if I'm getting it or not, but if I do, it's going straight to the credit card bills..

I'm going with the CAI and tune. My tax return is going to pay of the CC bills so the return of my own money to me from the govt is going to the mustang.

Well modaddict, you're the perfect person to ask, check out my above questions and let me know what you think. You think the tune is the best route to go right now like a lot of people are saying? And do you think it is worth it ( keeping in mind I don't have a ton of money so I don't get to buy new mods very often ) to get the JLT and tune, or just stick with my K&N and get the tune and say the short shifter? Or what are your ideas on the best thing to do? Lemme know man!

I'd stick with your K&N since you got it already. Go with a custom tune (not sure how much those are), and I'd like to see what those delete plates would do with a tune. I got a roush short shift for $220 so, shortshift+delete plates= $520 or so plus a tune for a little more. I'd try that. I'm thinking a boughta ARH exhaust for me... What ever you do you'll have fun.....
