Default American Racing Headers

I've got the exhaust bug now and decided to replace the stock exhaust system. I'm pretty much set on getting the ARH LT's but my question is which midpipe do you think I should get? It doesn't have to have cats cause there isn't emissions checks where I live. Another thing was the mufflers, i'm leaning towards the borla stingers for this but any suggestions are welcome.

I'm aware of the midpipe coming with the headers but I was trying to get some suggestions of which midpipe to choose to go with the stingers.

The ARH headers come with either an H or X pipe included either with or without cats. Are you asking which system from them to get or are you going to try and match another manufacturer's midpipe to the ARH? I tried the X pipe without cats and hated the trumpeting, excess exhaust fumes (vert with top down), and loudness so I changed to a catted system.I've not yet seen a back to back comparisonof the X pipe vs. H pipe on a dyno to verify any power differences between them.

If you're keeping the stingers, definitely H.

Yea I was asking which system from them (ARH) to get. I wanted to get the LT's and midpipe combo from them and see if anyone had a suggestion as to which one I should get to use with the stingers.

I would get the H with stingers, especially if you are going to have no cats. The stingers are extreamly raspy with an X and no cats.

rule of thumb:
for chambered mufflers = h-pipe
for straight-thru mufflers = x-pipe

Since you are sticking with stingers (chambered) then I would go with an h-pipe.

Stick with an H for the stingers. Sounds sooo deep and mean!
