$5k to Spend, What to do????
Hey guys,
Well due to a recent change in events, I now have exactly $5k to spend
! I was planning on staying N/A, but NOW I have no clue what to do, haha!So what would you do with exactly $5k? Here is what my car looks like now in terms of mods:
'06 GT Auto Convertible (Black with Red interior) it is my Daily Drive (I drive about 50% city and 50% highway)
Appearance Mods
Pioneer Avic-D3
Cervinis Type II chin spoiler
Red Calipers
18" Chrome Foose Nitrous Rims
Chrome Billet Grille insert
Antenna Delete mod
10% tint
Performance Mods
O/R X pipe
Boom Tubes (not really performance but oh well)
I have these parts brand new in the boxwaiting to go in:
JLT 2 CAI + tune from brenspeed
Steeda under drive pulleys
Steeda CMDP
So what would you do? Sell the CAI, UDP and CMDP and go with a supercharger and maybe some 3.73 gears? Or should Ikeep my stock 3.31 gears?Or would you do something else besidesdoing a super charger?All opinions welcome, let me know what you think.

How much does it cost to have a SC installed?
Also, I cannot use the CMDP, CAI orUDP with a SC correct? So, I should sell them, right? So that's $600 for the CAI + tune, $150 CMDP and $200 for the UDP = $950, so should I throw that into the $5k and have almost $6k and get a whipple? Or should I use that money and get a sypder drive shaft?
Disclaimer- I should have said, I do not go to the track that much, maybe once a month, so this is just my fun summer car, but that said I would like to get the HP up there in the 400-450 range
and surprise some people on the street!
I know the best two SC are the whipple and the kenn bell, but how does the paxton and saleen SC compare?

by the way there is no way ur gonna get rid of a cai and tune for 600....if u would shoot down to like 400...it would go no problem but heyif u want try it...see how it goes

if you are even considering a SC, then do it, do it now!!!
the paxton and saleen are good SC too, just depends what YOU want. i asked myself the same question and the 1st SC that came to mind was whipple, so thats what i got. i think if i had got anything else, it would always be in the back of my mind, what if i got a whipple instead. in the end i narrowed it down to paxton, saleen, or whipple. i like the way the whipple fits neatly under the hood not taking up too much space. a procharger is a good choice also.
