thanks for the quick reply, gidyup. that makes sense, but it looks like guys are putting anti-sieze on the shafts, as opposed to the threads. i just didn't think that would still be required with the one piece design.
Yeah probably not necessary but I figured it couldnt hurt. I might pull them out and put some on the threads too.

Guys are putting it on the shafts because they went back with OEM 2 piece plugs. Anti seize was always desireable on an aluminum head. Since we are looking at leaving the 1 piece plugs in for upwards of 100K miles, I don't want to gawl the threads having them in there that long.

Rebate is $2 per plug ($2.50 for iridium).

Cheapest price I can find now on 7989 is $16.23 at Clubplug - anyone find any cheaper?

Thanks, I looked for it briefly online, but didnt see anything right away. I was going to offer to mail out the rebate forms I had at work, lol.

I just went to that website and it told me no products are available for a 2008 Mustang GT???? Guess I'll try again later.
