Backfiring on Launch
i searched for backfiring and all that came up was stuff when the cars were cold, i dont think this is something to worry about, but i just wanted to double check. i launched the car today after letting it warm up (a half hour ride on the highway) and did a burnout and as i was about to shift, before i let off the gas, i heard 2 successive pops in a row. i cant imagine why it would be bad, also considering the car ran fine afterwards, i just want to make sure there isnt like this little rule out there that i dont know about saying your car will die if this happens. im just worried about my baby
. thanks in advance

I was wondering if it was u pinging off the redline as well, You said "before I let off the gas" Im no backfire expert but I thought backfires happened after you let off the gas, not during
it wasnt under the car, but how can i check codes on it or how can i tell that its running rich? with the tune, there was some preignition knock until the thing warms up, so i throw some 89 octane in it (87 tune), could that have anything to do with it?
