Default acceleration

just how hard are you auto guys accelerating with gears(3:90s/4:10s) high stall converter, aluminum driveshafts? about to get all the parts but want to get a feeling for what is to be expected out of all this.I really like the feeling of ferocious acceleration maybe more so over going 160 lol.

Being stock it's okay not all that great, with the parts I want to break the tires loose,be pushed back into my seat and holding on for dear life..okay,maybe a little too much to ask for with so few parts but I at least want a smile on my face when mashing on the throttle.

Other then a supercharger are there any other mods I can do to get off the line or accelerate
as hard as possible??

daily driver auto/ocassional drag strip car...

I only have the mods in my sig. But I can assure you that you'll get a smile on your face.

I'm going with 3.73's, 3000 Stall TC, and spydershaft closer to the summer. That should be about it.

If you plan on adding a supercharger with your 4.10s, you should plan on getting a new set of wide wheels and tires. From what I have heard, you will justsmoke the h3ll out of your tires. But i guess as an alternative to extreme acceleration, smoking the tires would be fun too.

pretty sure I am getting 3:90s but 4:10s seem so much fun lol.

I just have a few concerns about the 4:10s,being traction for one both from a dead stop
and a low roll as well as how much top end will suffer...I am basically assuming that
it'll fall on it's face around 120ish even with mods then gradually make it's way up to 140 (??)
but from a dead stop it'll pull like a frieght train lol.

Geez. I ONLY have the mods in my sig, too, and I can break 'em loose and get pushed back inmy seat AND with a smile... I can just about break free at 60 MPH when I drop into 3rd and hammer it... Maybe I'm missing something. LOL!

I have Pro 5.0 3.90s in my auto and only one word can describe it "badass!!" It is so much fun! It was like night and day and especially with dougs 91 race tune, OMG! The only problem with the gears is that there is alot of whine, but it doesnt bother me. Jsut thought I'd mention it for those thaht are whine sensitive. I recommend going with FRPP 3.73's if you dont want any whine and I dont recommend 4.10s on a daily driver and a car without dragradials. With the 3.90s I chirp 3rd and I break loose really easily! If I floor it in 3rd it will step out.

The TCI street fighter is amazing. It dropped 3 tenths in my quarter mile time. The car will definetly get those tires smoking if you floor it from a dead stop... and I am talking like they will keep spinning until you let go of the gas... The combination of that and a supercharger and larger gears I am pretty sure will bring a permanent smile to your face... Auto's can lag at first but they get furious when hooked up with the right combinations of parts...

Really though, just make sure you get a healthy stall for that much power (supercharger), a larger gear ratio, and a good tune. Then when you do supercharge it, take a friend out for a ride and place a hundred dollar bill on the dash in front of him and tell him to try en get it while you mash the gas pedal... fun game. (unless they actually get the money)

Ive got 3.73's, tune and a handfull of other goodies. My car pulls real hard until 90-95mph. Once it reaches 100, then it starts to really fall on its face.
