Default Crower Stage 2 Vs. Crower Stage 3

There was a recent post which discussed this but I didnt have luck in finding it. I was searching for Crower Cams and I started to read up on them. Crower states that their stage 2 kit is recommended for supercharging applications. Is that saying that they are just better than stage 3 for supercharging applications? or is that saying that stage 3 cams arent a safe choice if your planning on supercharging the car afterwords?

Does Comp Cams work the same way?

Thanks.

Most companies have stage 1, 2, and even 3 cams for n/a and then they have blower cams in stage 1, 2 and usually 3. Different grinds for different applications.

They would still work but you just wont be getting max hp from your cams if they arent being used for the intended purpose.
