Aeroforce 1/4mile times?

Aeroforce 1/4mile times?
Anyone with an Aeroforce want to quote their calculated 1/4 miles times? Also anyone test this at the track to see how correct it is.
I meant to write down the numbers this morning but I forgot here is my best recolection.
0-60 time - 3.94 seconds
1/8 time - 8.1
1/8 MPH - 91
1/4 time - 12.3
1/4 MPH - 116
I spun in first and the 0-60 time looks way too fast, but I wonder how close the 1/4 is for time and MPH.
This was the second time ever doing the performance calculator so here is how the run broke down.
Spun in 1rst and feathered, hit rev limiter (looking at gauge instead of tach), Spun 2nd feathered hit rev limiter (still stupidly staring at gauge) continued through 3rd and 4rth, hit the brakes.
Also I cant find my gauge directions, how do I check the approximate HP?
Thanks,

RE: Aeroforce 1/4mile times?
I have two aeroforce gauges I'll be installing this weekend.
You should be able to go back to the menu where it lists all of the things you want to monitor and HP will be there. When I plugged mine up to test them, making sure they worked, I selected the HP one for a test. For me, I make 8 HP at idle.
Also here is the manuals: http://www.aeroforcetech.com/Usermanual.html

I think if you spin at all it will skew all the times. I've never tried the 1/4.
By the way, I get misfires.
The instructions can be found on their website. You need to get a shift light.

I have used mine for that yet either....I did set up a shift light though and it works nicely. I really need to take time and play with it.....hey moose, did you have a question about how far the TB plates read open at one time......mine is like a minumin of 13-15 and 76 max i think, even with the pedal at 100%, 76 is the most the blade reading is?

Man that is good to hear, I wont ever look at that number again. I was trying to not let it bother me but I couldnt help it. Phew..
Yeah I figured the tire spin is the reason for the 0-60 time being so fast, I would love it, if it was true though. I will have to find a nice open area to do it a couple more times.
Very stupid but the place I normally practice launching wasnt long enough. I tried there the first time and ran out of road, that was no fun.
So last night it was real late when I got home from work so I stopped on a divided road by my house, pressed the gauge and went for it. I got the numbers above. I cant wait till I can get rims and tires as I need traction bad.

I'll look for a spot to do a 1/4 mile run, but my problem is on the stock tires i'll spin 1st of course, but second will spin hard around 4500-5000 rpms. I can always short shift out of 1st and not give it full throttle, but pedaling second is hard for me.

Yeah Moose I think that is why I was a little disappointed with the whipple at first.
Even with a CAI and tune, I thought the car pulled pretty strong in 1rst and 2nd, then fell on its face in third.
Now w/ the charger 1rst is useless, and I spin second at like 4,000 rpms so I feather, by the time it grabs in third you loose the big accel feeling.
Heck I raced a guy in a grand prix and spun first and second, so he stayed with me, when I hit third I walk away but it should have been much more dramatic than that.
Since I am the OP I will add another topic here for comment.
I plan on getting 20" Shelby Redlines, Front - 255/35/20's, Rear - 275/40/20's or bigger.
Problem is money. Around the end of the year I am going to be doing my Clutch and a spydershaft. Then it will probably take me another year to save the $1800 for wheels and tires.
So my thought currently is to take off the 235/55/17's on 2 wheels, and get a stickier 255/50/17 for the rear. I will keep the 235's and put them on the front when the other ones wear out.
I just dont know if it will really help that much?
Any thoughts?

I did a perfomace run with mine. I dont recall all the numbers but the 0-60 time was like 3.9 and the 1/4 was 12.29 @ 112/113. Fairly consistant with my best track #s of 12.35 @ 111
two things I'd comment on - if your running non stock tires and the rev/mile are off at all it would throw off the #s some. Second - as mentioned if you spin at all it does throw the #s off as well.
I'm going to the track in 2 weeks so I'll try and get a comparison of the Aeroforce vs the track slip then.

Still running stock 235/55/17's which is my #1 problem at the moment. Yeah I figure tire spin defineatly messed up the 0-60 time but if my MPH is close then I am happy.
Look forward to your comparison. End of the year with a new clutch and D/S I might head out to the track.
I wish I had the $$ for wheels.
