Default Few Questions?

I just bought a 2006 4.6 GT and am looking to make some upgrades. In doing my research, i have some questions.
1. If you get a cold air kit do you have to get a calibration and can only use premium feul?
2. What is a good deep exhaust to get?
3. Whats better shorty or long headers?

1) You don't have to, but you will get a little more power if you do tune for premium fuel. But you can tune for 87octane.
2) I'll let someone else answer this one...
3) Long tube headers.

For # 2 where's that huge thread on exhaust? I'll look around for it.
