Default Alignment for Cams?

I email Brenspeed about their stage 3 comp cam package and how long the installation would take. They replied that I would need a new front alignment after installing the cams... I didnt know this...? Is it true? (I would assume its a good idea seeing that its coming from Brenspeed)...

And why would you need one if you do in the first place?

Wow - I have never heard of that and have never done it after a cam install??

I'm not 100% 'against' it but I just don't see how the alignment would be affected at all?

Maybe they are dropping the motor and K-frame from the bottom to do the swap?
That is the only thing I can think of that would affect the alignment.

I agree and thought of that at first and then I thought why would they do that? Hopefully not to just charge more labor. I would frankly ask them for an explanation if I was the OP.

I doubt if Brenspeed resorts to those type of business practices.

That has to be the reason why.

So do I. Actually - I think zkiller hit the nail on the head but I'm just curious why?

Perhaps there is more than just the cams getting installed?

Sounds like a pita to me. For what exactly? Exhaust lope and 17whp?

Yeah, probably getting headers put in too. They drop the K for that.
