Aluminum D/S and 4.10 gears will knock off quite a few .10's as well. Oh and how did you get that picture of my wife?

Rob - great idea...

are you gonna do one pull on each tune to compare? too bad the 24 is a Thursday or I'd come to watch!

btw - when i researched this subject a few months back I came to the consensus of 8-12% on average of a difference.

I dont trust the Mustang dyno. We have a tuner in our area that will play with the weight of the car to make you think you are making more hp than you are after he tunes your car. I had a Helion turbo that he installed, tuned and dyno'ed .I was running 7# of boost and he said I was making 498rwtq. I about got laughed of the forum. Heck I didnt know. So I ran it on a Dynojet and made 430rwtq. I guess some people will cheat at anything!!!

Alot of you are obsessed with numbers.. but dyno numbers are part of the equation.. #1 driver mod, #2 wieght, #3 tq, #4 on the list IMO is hp #'s..

mine dyno'd 281rwhp on a mustang dyno then with no other changes it dyno's 296rwhp on a dynojet. 15hp difference is between 5-10% ....didn't feel like doing the math

It's not so much the actual numbers I get, but the difference in the numbers, the torque curves, as well as the A/F pattern between the tunes that will be more important to methat day. He will be running the tunes back to back, 1-2 pulls each and I know he won't be "playing" with the settings. He way too busy to bother doing that and well as risking his rep.

I hope to get at least one data log to Justin at VMP prior to the 24th, so he can fine tune my ride before dyno day. I'm not all that concerned with Realspeed's tune numbers as the tune I have in my SCTwas done when I had my 8psi pulley and stock fuel pumps. Just curious to se if the A/F will hold with my current setup. He won't have time that day to further tune my car but I'll post up sheets afterwards anyway.

Indeed, it'll be interesting to see this. Especially since you've got a Saleen blower on there.. What size pulley? 3.4"?

And which tune are you running currently? You sig says JDM, but then you mention VMP, and Realspeed.. ?

I'm running the JDM tune now, definitely feels stronger than the VMP and the boost comes on way sooner, but I will datalog next week and send to VMP for a fine tuning. I have the Realspeed tune in my Xcal but not using it until I get to the dyno. Yes, I'm running the 3.4" pulley.
