Were going to need more info from you. Like full list of modds and what kind of tires your running on (street, dr?)

We need some numbers from ur time slip.

-60ft?
1/8?
-mph?
etc

this well help us see if its u or the car. Most likly u though.

My best time is below w/ my best 60 of 1.96(i have to update my old one) on street tires, which is really good. I slip my clutch around 2500-3000 depending on the track prep. 5 grandis really high unless u have some good susp and dr tires.

What tires?

The most important thing at the track is RUBBER...period.

Running down the track on street tires is like taking sand to the beach...

Practice is the key man. No one goes out there on their first time and cuts amazing 60 times. One method I like to use is to rev to about 3500-4000 let out the clutch around half way (maybe a little more) andholding the throttle steadyfor about 15' or so (kind of go by feeling), then release the clutch all the way and sqeeze the throttle to the floor. This method gives me some pretty gives me some pretty good consistent 60 times. My best 60 time on the stock 235 pirelli tires is a 1.819. If I cut a 2.0x plus, I would consider it a bad run. 1/4 times and mods are in my sig.

good luck and have fun (most important)!

You need the same thing I do, more runs to practice launching and tires.

Definently just keep going out there man. It's fun to learn!! you may get lucky and have a day when no one shows up, one time I got about 22 runs, talk about having ample time to try new things out and perfect what works! The other key is to go consistently, going once every 3 monthes won't help much at all since you'll be relearning the launch everytime you are out there.
