regardless if my warranty will be covered or not really isnt a big deal cause i got a really good deal on the supercharger that i couldnt pass itup even if medoing my own install will void the warranty. either way i would rather do the install myself then to let someone else do it. ive heard the horror stories about the ford mechanics with other peoples cars.

Forgive me for pointing this out, butwasn't the main reason you wanted an old technology (inferior by some people's standards) blower was for it's ability to keep your warranty intact??
I think if you shopped it, you most likely could have gotten a REALLY good deal on a Whipple, and you'd be much happier 3 years from now when you decide you want more power...
