I love this video. Maybe someday I'll be able to run with the big boys.

1 question, it doesn't look like your cars are caged. Don't they require that at Irwidale if your cars run under a certain time?

I think it's 11.99 where i race.

Per NHRA - you need a roll bar (6 point) if you run below 11.50 in the 1/4 and 7.20 in the 1/8. You need a full cage if you run below 10.0 in the 1/4 or 6.30 in the 1/8. All 3 of those cars are caged... They all have a 6-point which is legal for 10.0 or 6.30 in the 1/8. We all use swingouts and connects to make them extremely friendly for the street.

My car has a full cage and is legal for 8.60 1/4.

The cages are nice and barely visible from the outside. Even my full cage can only really be noticed by sticking your head in the window...

Yep - and we have tons of 1/4 vids as well. Iriwindale is every thursday though and one of the best prepped tracks in so cal. That's why we all go there often.

Besides, the best parts of racing is done in the 1/8 anyway. (heads up speaking of course)

You might need a chute with those future 150+mph traps

It's technically a 6-point but yes, what you are asking about is legal to 10.0

These kind of videos are the reason why I can't stop modding, as soon as I get back from Thailand I am S/Cing I would have done it sooner If I didn't buy a $4000 engagement ring. I LOVE MUSTANGS!!!!!!!!!
