Which axleback?

Which axleback?
I have searched through threads on this but am still undecided. I want an axleback on my '06 that has stock looking tips and isn't really loud and without drone. I know the Corsa would be a good choice except the tips don't look stock, but I don't want to spend quite that much. Any suggestions? Thanks

You could always cut the tips off the Corsas and weld on tips that are the same as stock. I would look at the FRPP GTAs as well. I havent seen people complaining about drone with those and to me the tips look closer to stock. I love my big shiny corsa tips though. They fit perfectly in the cutouts for a GT rear bumper.

Hmmmm......not very loud, stock looking tips,no drone......it sounds like your describing the freakin' stock mufflers. Why not keep them on? DO you have the rolled tips or not? Trust me when you put different mufflers on that have the big tips you will ever wonder why you livved with those puny stock ones.....I will post a comparison of mine for ya in a sec.

Pypes Street Pro. They're basically the equivalent of the FRPP GTA's but way cheaper. They have 4 inch tips but they're not ostentacious and tuck up in the cutouts nicely. They sounded decent on my setup when it was stock, not loud enough to draw unwantedattention, but a nice low rumble to them.

Magnaflow will sound just like stock until you get it reving high. Then they have a much nicer growl. I bought Magnaflow Magnapak because the original magnaflows were too quiet. It was hard to tell them from stock.
It is hard to figure out what you want. Mufflers that look and sound like stock, are, well, stock. I have a pair to sell......
